Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Technical Architect to lead the architecture and technical direction for enterprise-scale software and platform solutions. You will define end-to-end solution architectures, govern technical quality, and act as a trusted technology advisor across multiple teams.

This hybrid role requires at least three days in the office and locations include Atlanta, Chesterbrook, Columbus, Dallas, Houston or Tampa.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering with architecture ownership across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Minimum 3 years designing enterprise-scale software or platform solutions as a Technical Architect with modern architecture patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture for enterprise software platforms, shared services, and applications.
• Define target-state and transition architectures, including system decomposition, integration patterns, and data flows.
• Lead architecture decisions (build/buy/reuse) and articulate trade-offs, risks, and dependencies.
• Mentor senior engineers and junior architects; promote consistency and engineering excellence.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards and governance (security, scalability, performance, operability).
• Partner with engineering, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure production-ready solutions.
