Job summary

Inhabit is seeking a Software Architect to lead high-level system design across our PropTech platform in Plano, TX. You will set technical standards, drive scalable, secure solutions, and mentor a team of engineers while collaborating with product, DevOps, and cloud teams.

You will influence architecture decisions, contribute code, improve CI/CD pipelines, and help modernize development workflows with AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of complex architecture projects to improve scalability and security.
• Contribute code across multiple languages and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with DevOps to build and maintain deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Resolve critical outages and incidents as a primary escalation resource.
• Improve processes, reduce technical debt, and share best practices across teams.
