Job summary

Acquire Learning is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Architect to own cross-functional product initiatives across TypeScript, Express, React web, and React Native iPad apps. You will collaborate with the Product Owner, CTO, and clinical experts to translate workflows into robust software, ensuring tenant isolation and data privacy.

You will drive architecture decisions, implement scalable backend services, and maintain automated tests and release quality in a HIPAA-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience across the full stack.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience designing multi-tenant architectures with tenant isolation.
• Experience in HIPAA-regulated or similar high-compliance environments.
• Ownership of code quality, tests, and release readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own product changes from framing through implementation, testing, release, and follow-up.
• Build backend services with TypeScript, Express, and MongoDB.
• Design scalable application and data architectures for growing tenants and data.
• Develop React web app workflows for clinicians and admins.
• Contribute to React Native iPad app with offline capabilities and release quality.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; improve testability of code.
