Job summary

Prescryptive, a healthcare technology company, seeks an experienced Frontend Architect to own the frontend architecture for Axiom applications. You will establish patterns, build production-ready interfaces, and align with a governed backend while delivering fast, accessible, well-architected user experiences for internal teams, customers, and partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, building, and shipping complex production applications.
• Deep expertise in React and strong proficiency in TypeScript with ownership of frontend architecture.
• Hands-on experience with MUI or similar design systems and building a shared component library.
• Experience establishing a design system or component library from near-zero.
• Experience building multi-tenant or white-label frontend architecture with theming per customer within a single codebase.
• Accessibility experience including ARIA patterns, keyboard navigation, and screen reader testing.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools as part of engineering workflow.
• Experience with strongly typed APIs and frontend interactions rather than ad-hoc endpoints.
• Proven ability to handle both quick interactions and long-running processes in a workflow.
• Experience with sensitive data in healthcare/financial contexts.
• Strong written communication documenting architecture and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend architecture for internal, customer, and partner audiences with differing needs.
• Integrate frontend with backend interactions, including fast paths and longer review steps.
• Build multi-tenant theming and branding within a single codebase.
• Establish accessibility, code quality, and documentation standards for the frontend suite.
• Collaborate with the Axiom team and technical leaders to resolve design questions.
