Job summary

Signify Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade software powering clinician-facing experiences and performance management. You will architect highly distributed systems, set technical direction, and raise engineering standards through mentorship and collaboration.

You will work across frontend, backend, and infra layers, applying AI-assisted tools, modern cloud platforms, and BI thinking to drive scalable value across health care programs.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering: problem solving, data structures, algorithms, patterns, concurrency.
• Experience as a polyglot software engineer with multiple languages.
• 6+ months using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Full-stack development experience to ship and operate large-scale systems.
• Strong SQL skills and RDBMS knowledge (SQL Server/PostgreSQL).
• End-to-end experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with modern frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS/JS).
• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to travel quarterly.
• 7–10 years of work experience; growth mindset; execution focus; BI familiarity.
