Job summary

TechFlow, Inc. in Montgomery, AL seeks an experienced Senior Software Architect / Lead Software Engineer to guide a DoD modernization program.

You will shape architectural design, drive implementation, and ensure secure, scalable solutions using open-standard technologies across the full development lifecycle. The role requires strong Java enterprise development, Spring Boot, RESTful microservices, DevSecOps, and RMF/STIG compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years of Java enterprise development experience.
Experience with Java EE/Spring, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures.
Experience with security and quality tooling (SAST, SonarQube, GitLab CI/CD).
Experience operating in a DevSecOps environment with RMF/STIG familiarity.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural design and technical implementation of scalable, secure software.
Guide development teams and promote best practices in architecture and coding standards.
Perform peer code reviews and ensure automated quality and security controls.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to meet RMF and STIG requirements.
Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement across the SDLC.
