Job summary

IDB Group in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Software Developer Consultant to shape and modernize digital solutions for Portfolio Management. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive architectural decisions, and ensure scalable, secure software aligned with institutional guidelines.

You will translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions, set development standards, and guide teams through technical challenges to optimize interoperability and performance across the product.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated expertise in software development and API/web services.
• Proficiency in authentication/authorization standards (SAML, OAuth, WebAuth, ADFS).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for multidisciplinary teams including developers, AI engineers, data scientists, and product designers.
• Align architecture with enabler teams to follow institutional guidelines.
• Oversee hands-on software engineering, ensure scalability, security, and code quality.
