Job summary

Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, DC seeks an AI & Emerging Technologies Architecture Consultant to evolve Enterprise AI capabilities, design reusable architecture patterns, evaluate emerging tech, and set technical standards across business and corporate initiatives.

The role requires experience in AI, cloud-native architectures, software engineering, and enterprise architecture, with collaboration across Product Teams, Security, Data Governance, Cloud Engineering, and Solution

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience including Azure and applied AI across Cloud & AI Platforms, Applied AI, Software Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture.
• Proficiency in English and at least one other Bank official language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese).

Responsibilities

• Develop the Bank's AI reference architecture with reusable patterns and guidance.
• Assess AI platforms, cloud-native tech, and emerging AI technologies.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and reference implementations for scalability and cost.
• Collaborate with Product Teams, Security, Data Governance, and Cloud Engineering to enable AI capabilities.
• Participate in Architecture Review Boards and design governance activities.
• Promote Responsible AI governance and technology adoption.
