The Inter-American Development Bank seeks an AI & Emerging Technologies Architecture Consultant to design reusable patterns, assess platforms, and drive secure, scalable AI across banking and corporate initiatives. You will formulate reference architectures and standards, and develop proofs-of-concept to validate potential enterprise capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of experience including Azure and applied AI across Cloud & AI Platforms, Applied AI, Software Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture.
• Proficiency in English and another Bank official language (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI reference architecture using reusable patterns and standards.
• Assess and accredit AI platforms, cloud-native technologies, and emerging AI tech.
• Create proofs-of-concept to evaluate scalability, cost, and enterprise applicability.
• Collaborate with Product Teams, Security, Data Governance, and Cloud Engineering to enable enterprise AI.
• Participate in Architecture Review Boards and governance activities.
• Promote Responsible AI governance and technology adoption.
