Phase2 is a remote-first digital agency guiding industry-leading companies to the next steps in their digital landscape. As a Software Architect, you will shape architecture decisions, serve as a technical interpreter for clients, and lead complex projects across diverse tech stacks.

You will mentor engineers and expand your impact into client leadership and strategic problem solving. You will report to the VP of Engineering or Sr.

Qualifications

• Design system architecture and assess technology fit for requirements.
• Lead and mentor engineers, expanding impact beyond implementation.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly to clients and teams.
• Proactively identify risks and craft architectural solutions in ambiguous environments.
• Experience with AI coding agents and prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture decisions and project delivery with clarity and momentum.
• Act as client-facing technical interpreter and advisor.
• Analyze existing systems and propose architecture improvements.
• Create technical designs within constraints such as budget and schedule.
• Oversee deployment, maintenance, and knowledge transfer within the team.
