Job summary

McKesson, a Fortune 10 healthcare leader, seeks a Lead Software Engineer to drive architecture across Ontada’s iKnowMed G2 platform. You will guide multiple teams in modern cloud-native microservices, API-led integration, and secure, scalable solutions, leveraging Java, Databricks, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and HIT standards.

You will champion AI/GenAI, NLP, and RAG workflows, shaping strategic technology decisions and governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with architecture leadership.
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-native platforms.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, APIs gateways, event-driven patterns, and data integration.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR/HL7) is a plus.
