Job summary

Mindgruve, a global digital agency, seeks an Associate Director, Social to lead strategic social initiatives, manage client relationships, and guide a team of Social Media Managers and Strategists in delivering integrated campaigns across content planning, community management, influencer marketing, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in social media strategy, preferably in an agency or known brand.
• 2–3 years of people management experience.
• Proven ability to create social strategies, manage campaigns, and report performance.
• Experience with social planning, listening, and reporting tools (Sprinklr, Meltwater, Brandwatch, Hootsuite, Helixa, Upfluence, Mavrck).
• Experience developing and executing influencer marketing programs.
• Strong client-facing presentation and relationship management experience.
• Deep understanding of major social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, X, Pinterest).
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills; able to write briefs and client narratives.
• Proven ability to translate performance data into strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and confidently present social strategies and integrated campaigns to clients, translating business goals into social initiatives.
• Lead annual and quarterly social planning aligned with client goals, product launches, and seasonal priorities.
• Act as day‑to‑day strategic lead for key client accounts, providing briefs, approvals, feedback, and oversight.
• Develop measurement plans with KPIs, benchmarks, and reporting frameworks.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide reporting, case studies, and insights.
• Stay current with social platform trends including AI, VR/AR and emerging formats; deliver agency POVs.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure cohesive social storytelling.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of Social Media Managers, Strategists, and Content Creators.
