Horizon Media Inc. in New York is seeking a Senior Planner for Social to drive paid social initiatives across an active client roster. You will develop proposals, craft media plans, and present strategies that align with client goals.

You will manage campaign setup, tracking, and optimization while collaborating with analytics and digital teams. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years paid social media experience.
• Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and concepts.
• Experience buying ads on Facebook and Instagram, other platforms OK.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exposure to advanced targeting/retargeting tactics.
• Comfort owning budget/investment levels in social media.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals for paid social campaigns across active client roster.
• Create and present media plans, RFPs, objectives and strategies decks.
• Analyze proposals and partner negotiations.
• Maintain vendor communications and status documents.
• Generate insertion orders and ensure delivery accuracy.
• Set up client paid social campaigns and track performance.
• Monitor pacing and optimizations of active campaigns daily.
• Provide high-level insights and recommendations with the team.
