UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Social Media Specialist to support our enterprise Communications team and manage content calendars, publishing, community engagement and reporting.

This role offers remote work across the U.S. with in-office four days a week for Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area hires, plus opportunities to grow across strategy, creator programs and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in social media, communications, marketing, or related field.
• Familiarity with publishing content and monitoring engagement across major social media platforms.
• Familiarity with social media management, analytics and content-planning tools.
• Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain content calendars, project trackers and program resources.
• Coordinate with program leads, communications partners and subject-matter experts to gather content and move projects forward.
• Track deadlines, reviews, approvals, and next steps across multiple workstreams.
• Organize content, creative assets, and program materials in shared team workspaces.
• Support participant onboarding, content-planning sessions, video shoots and other program activities.
• Help maintain guides, templates, and other team documentation.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations that enhance program performance, streamline workflows, improve participant experiences, and support the growth and scale of employee programs.
