Job summary

VeSync is seeking a Social Media Manager in California to lead social strategy, content creation, and channel management for its brands. The role requires 5+ years in social media or digital marketing, with a strong writing ability and data-driven approach.

You will manage multiple platforms, collaborate with marketing teams, and produce engaging content while staying ahead of trends. Excellent communication and camera-ready presence are valued as you help grow audience engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and tools.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
• A desire to be in front of the camera as needed for content.

Responsibilities

• Drive social media, channel strategy, management, and brand voice across company social channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, X, Reddit, and LinkedIn)
• Collaborate with design, marketing and other teams, integrate resources, and ensure high-quality content that is adapted to the characteristics of different social media platforms.
• Ideate and execute diversified content forms (graphic, short - video, live - broadcast, story, etc.) to enhance user participation and stickiness
• Be responsible for the daily operation of the official social media accounts in the region, including content posting, comment and private - message replies, to maintain the high activity of the accounts
• Foster two-way conversations by actively responding to comments, messages, and mentions, showing genuine interest in community members and building trust through authentic engagement.
• Encourage participation with interactive content such as polls, questions, and user-generated content campaigns, making community members feel valued and involved in brand activities.
• Handle social listening to track brand sentiment and trends.
• Stay updated on social media trends and emerging platforms, identify opportunities for brand engagement and act as a brand ambassador to strengthen the brands social presence.
• Monitor social sentiment and address negative feedback or crises promptly to protect the brand’s reputation.
• Monitor social media conversations, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies to optimize engagement, reach, and ROI.
• Prepare regular reports highlighting key insights and recommendations.
• Use data to optimize content and strategy.
