Job summary

Betterment is hiring a Social Media & Content Associate to support the execution of our organic social strategy across three business lines and help scale how we show up across platforms. This role sits on the Brand Creative team, reporting into the Social Media Manager.

You'll draft, create, publish content, route posts through compliance, and monitor performance to drive brand equity. Based in NYC, the base salary range is disclosed and compensation includes potential incentives.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation; experience in financial services or other regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day workflow for creation of posts, including drafting copy, coordinating or creating assets, editing, shooting, routing for reviews and approvals, and maintaining compliance documentation.
• Schedule and publish content using social management tools, ensuring tagging, accessibility standards, and compliance requirements are met.
• Monitor engagement across channels, flag questions or trends, and route to the appropriate team.
• Pull weekly/monthly performance metrics to contribute to reporting and optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, and Comms to package product launches into social-ready formats.
• Contribute ideas during brainstorms and align content with market events and brand moments.
