Job summary

eight&four is expanding its Miami presence and seeks a Social Account Director to lead social and content delivery for complex accounts. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, shape strategies, and act as a senior client advisor across retained and ambitious campaigns.

In this hybrid Miami-based role, you will drive growth, ensure top-quality output, and partner with London-based Social Partner teams to deliver innovative content and excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Agency experience at an Account Director level or equivalent.
• Social & content background.
• Proven experience managing large or complex accounts in a leading role.
• Excellent project management capabilities and an eye for best-practice delivery.
• Confident and consultative approach with senior clients.
• Strong collaborator able to interface with a variety of internal specialists, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Key client contact on a large retained social account with the ability to develop strong relationships, handle difficult situations with senior clients and drive excellence in our output.
• Also client & stakeholder liaison across complex projects and campaigns.
• Ability to lead and present on strategic and creative thinking and come across as a consultant.
• Act as a guardian and catalyst for best in class innovative content, working hand in hand with creatives.
• Key strategic content lead, constantly evaluating success of strategy and opportunities for evolution.
• End-to-end delivery of large accounts and complex projects, overcoming obstacles, demonstrating agility, and leading with clarity from a client and internal perspective.
• Lead on effective collaboration within your accounts.
• Oversight of large teams and accounts to ensure account health, quality control, and proactivity - including acting as the client escalation point where necessary - as well as commercials account growth.
• Collaborate with other seniors across the business on proposals, pitches, etc - acting as a connector between various disciplines (e.g. performance, creative, etc).
• Take ownership of commercial targets (working with Growth team member on your accounts) and motivate core team to help deliver against them.
