Job summary

The Social Shepherd is seeking a social-first content creator, ideator and strategist to lead daily social accounts and collaborate with a team of videographers, strategists and managers. The role involves shooting content, ideating campaigns, and translating trends into engaging social concepts for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

With 3+ years in social/creative roles, you will own content from concept to completion, contribute to pitches, and help drive growth for global brands and scale-ups.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Social / Creative industries, or as a content creator.
• Portfolio demonstrating lo-fi, mid-fi and high-production content.
• Strong ideation and execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead social content ideation across multiple client accounts, focusing on always-on content and campaign moments.
• Lead the ideation and presentation of creative strategies for client pitches and campaign kickoffs.
• Shoot and edit social-first content.
• Translate social insights and trends into creative concepts that spark conversation and drive engagement.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their brand vision and translate it into standout social-first creative.
• Provide hands-on support with copywriting, art direction, and moodboarding.
• Attend and lead content shoots when required, ensuring quality and creativity align with client expectations and platform best practices.
• Partner with internal leads across Strategy, Paid, and Client Services to ensure integrated and cohesive delivery.
• Support on new business pitches from a Social Creative Strategy POV from time to time.

We're looking for a social-first content creator, ideator and strategist who knows how social algorithms work inside and out.

You'll ideate, brief, and develop lo-fi, reactive, planned and high-production social video and statics for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. You'll be the day-to-day lead on your social accounts, alongside a team of videographers, content creators, strategists, and community managers, as well as report to our Associate Creative Director.

We're looking for someone who also knows how to shoot content just as much as ideating.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation Range: $80,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
