Synopsys, Inc. is seeking experienced engineers who design and integrate complex SoC architectures with a focus on IP blocks and interfaces.

You will map customer requirements to subsystem architectures, specify interfaces and performance targets, and guide designs through the full lifecycle from evaluation to silicon bring-up. The role requires deep knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog, RTL design, and high-speed signaling, along with strong communication skills for customer-facing work.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience as a design engineer, system architect, or applications engineer working on complex SoCs or ASIC projects.
• Deep knowledge of interface, connectivity, and memory protocols including UCIe, PCIe, Ethernet, HBM, and LPDDR.
• Solid grounding in SoC design implementation including RTL design and verification using Verilog or SystemVerilog, synthesis and static timing analysis, physical design flow.
• Experience with high-speed PCB layout, signal integrity analysis, lab equipment, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with IP selection, integration, design, or support in customer-facing roles.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both executives and engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Engage with customer architects and SoC leads to translate requirements into IP integration solutions.
• Architect subsystems that integrate Synopsys IP blocks (UCIe, PCIe, Ethernet, HBM, LPDDR) into customer SoCs.
• Drive customer success across IP evaluation through tape-out and silicon bring-up.
• Develop technical collateral to help presales win designs and guide customers.
• Analyze customer markets and influence IP roadmaps with Product Management.
• Travel 15–30% to customer sites and offices for evaluations and design reviews.
• Provide technical training to field application engineers and key customers.
