Synopsys Inc is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Sunnyvale to partner with HPC leaders, gathering requirements and architecting solutions using Synopsys IP. You will drive customer success from IP evaluation through tape-out and silicon bring-up, delivering technical collateral and engaging with multiple teams.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in design/system engineering, strong Verilog/SystemVerilog skills, and experience with PCIe, UCIe, Ethernet, and memory protocols.

Qualificações

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of experience as a design/system/applications engineer.
• Experience with interfaces, connectivity and memory protocols such as UCIe, PCIe, Ethernet; HBM and LPDDR.
• RTL design and verification using Verilog or SystemVerilog; synthesis and static timing analysis; physical design flow; testbench creation and simulation.
• Familiarity with high-speed PCB layout, signal integrity, assembly and manufacturing, and SI.
• Strong technical communication and ability to present complex technical requirements clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Engage with Customer Architects and SoC Leads to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Specify architectures that integrate IP blocks into SoC subsystems.
• Drive customer success from IP evaluation to tape-out and silicon bring-up.
• Develop technical collateral (architecture diagrams, design specs, white papers) to support presales.
• Understand customer target sectors, analyze design requirements and provide feedback to Marketing and Design teams.
• Travel 15-30% to visit customers and engineering locations.
