Job summary

MatX is hiring a Technical Program Manager for its silicon team in Mountain View. You will own the cross-functional execution framework for advanced SoC programs from planning through tapeout, driving milestones, dependencies, reviews, risk management, and tapeout readiness across multiple engineering groups.

You will develop playbooks, lead end-to-end execution of SoC development, resolve pre-silicon issues, and support tradeoffs in performance, power, area, and cost.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical program management experience across SoC programs and silicon lifecycles.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams with multiple engineering groups, vendors, and aggressive schedules.
• Proficiency in planning, dependency tracking, risk management, and milestone governance.
• Experience with pre-silicon flows including RTL, DV sign-off, synthesis, physical design, tapeout.

Responsibilities

• Develop playbooks and best practices for program management across the PD organization for cross-functional deliveries.
• Lead end-to-end execution of SoC development programs from concept through production
• Drive issue resolution during pre-silicon execution, tapeout, bring-up, debug, qualification, and yield learning.
• Support silicon planning across performance, power, area, cost, reliability, and manufacturability tradeoffs.
• Build and maintain program trackers, risk registers, and executive dashboards covering each engagement
• Track technical dependencies, schedule risks, owners, closure dates, critical path, program milestones, tapeout readiness, and silicon bring-up deliverables.
• Drive gate reviews and weekly program syncs with physical design and validation teams
• Manage technical risks related to schedule, design maturity, IP readiness, verification closure, signoff, and supply chain.
• Prepare executive-level updates covering milestone health, risks, decisions, and resource gaps.
