Apple Inc. is seeking an experienced SoC Power Spec Engineer in Austin, TX, to model power dissipation at the SOC level across CPUs, GPUs, AI accelerators, and memory blocks.

You will quantify power targets for various customer use-cases and ensure alignment with architectural constraints. The role requires strong scripting and data-analysis skills, a deep understanding of SOC building blocks, and the ability to collaborate across architecture, design, and validation teams to correlate models

Qualifikationen

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in power modeling at SOC level and with AI/ML workloads is desirable.
• Strong scripting and data-analysis capabilities are required.

Aufgaben

• Model power dissipation at the SOC level for CPUs, GPU, AI accelerators, media IPs, caches, and fabric.
• Model power for various customer use-cases and reference workloads.
• Collaborate with System designers, Technology team, Silicon Validation, and Product Engineering to define power targets at the SOC level.
• Work with the power lab and test teams to correlate models to silicon data.
