Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Detection, Monitoring, and Countermeasures Lead to run a 24/7 SOC, optimize detection, and implement countermeasures across Pentagon networks. You will guide a 10–15 person team, ensure compliance with DoD directives, and deliver strategic reporting on uptime, vulnerabilities, and tool upgrades.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree with 12–15 years of experience in cyber defense, incident handling, and enterprise tooling.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s with extensive SOC/CIRT experience.
• 5+ years in incident handling or SOC operations and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24x7 monitoring, triage, and prevention across SOC.
• Tune security tools to maximize detection and reduce risk.
• Deliver strategic reports and drive countermeasure projects.
• Lead a 10–15 staff team in a high-pressure environment.
