Leidos is seeking a senior Detection, Monitoring, and Countermeasures Lead to manage a 10–15 person SOC team in a 24/7 environment. You will optimize detection across SIEM, IDS/IPS, and proxies, develop countermeasures, and deliver strategic reports to leadership to drive mission success.

Qualifikationen

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 12–15 years of IT/Cybersecurity experience with SOC/SEC ops.
• Experience operating and managing a SOC/CIRT.
• 5+ years in incident handling or SOC operations.
• 3+ years deploying enterprise security tools (IDS/IPS, SIEM, proxy).
• DoD 8140/8570.01-M IAT Level II requirements met prior to start.

Aufgaben

• Lead 24x7x365 real-time monitoring of network and endpoint security data.
• Direct tuning and optimization of SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
• Develop countermeasures and project plans for government approval.
• Provide monthly reports on uptime, availability, and vulnerabilities.
• Draft executive-level operational findings for leadership.
