Job summary

Leidos is seeking a proactive SOC Analyst for a 24x7 front-line security operations team. You will investigate alerts from endpoints, IDS/IPS, NetFlow, and logs to neutralize threats targeting mission environments.

This role requires a strong adversary mindset, exceptional critical thinking, and the ability to communicate findings to mission partners. A DoD TS clearance and IAT II certification are required, with CSSP-Analyst certification planned within 180 days.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher.
• Ability to obtain CSSP-Analyst certification within 180 days.
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Location within 2 hours of Scott AFB, IL or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and triage security alerts from endpoints, IDS/IPS, NetFlow, and sensors.
• Perform deep-dives on highly-classified logs to support investigations.
• Produce detailed findings and TTPs for high-level stakeholders.
• Integrate classified threat intel and IOCs into SIEM sensors.
• Collaborate with incident response teams and communicate incidents to mission partners.
