Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Incident Response Lead to join the DHS SOC program, delivering security operations, analysis, and incident response for a high-visibility federal contract.

The role requires hands-on expertise across Windows/Linux, network security, and incident lifecycle management, with prior leadership experience and TS/SCI clearance. You will mentor analysts, drive automation, and coordinate with customers to detect, mitigate, and report on threats 24/7.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8-12 years of technical experience.
• 4+ years of supervising and/or managing teams.
• 5+ years of intrusion detection or incident handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response through all lifecycle phases and drive root cause analysis.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to improve analyst skills.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders and customers.
• Promote automation and process improvements in SOC operations.
• Maintain knowledge of ATT&CK and cyber kill chain frameworks.
