Objective Partners in Chicago seeks a senior SOC Cybersecurity Engineer to act as the first escalation point above Tier 1 analysts. You will work across IT security and OT environments, handling phishing alerts, incident response escalations, and vulnerability management while coordinating remediation with systems teams.

You will present security issues to leadership with clear, executive-ready communication and guidance.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of hands-on SOC engineering experience.
• Experience across IT security and OT security domains.
• Familiarity with SIEM and endpoint tools; SC-200 is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Respond to and validate email phishing alerts, distinguishing false positives from true positives.
• Support incident response escalations and drive vulnerability management.
• Coordinate with systems teams to remediate OS‑level vulnerabilities.
• Communicate security issues clearly to leadership and executives.
