Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Sr Silicon Bring-Up and Integration Engineer to lead bring-up and validation of complex ASICs/SoCs. You will write low-level C/C++ and Python tooling, work across hardware and software teams, and support characterization from pre-silicon to production readiness.

The role is highly hands-on, requires coordinating across ASIC/firmware/board/test teams, and is based onsite in San Diego, Kent, WA, or Austin, TX with a temporary remote exception during site development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 7+ years in ASIC/SoC bring-up, post-silicon validation, embedded systems, or similar.
• Hands-on with low-level hardware/software integration and debugging.
• Strong C/C++ for hardware control and embedded software.
• Experience with test automation, instrumentation, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-silicon bring-up, initialization, configuration, and debugging of custom SoCs/ASICs.
• Develop C/C++ software, firmware, diagnostics, and Python-based test infrastructure.
• Integrate hardware/software with silicon and support first-silicon characterization.
• Develop and execute tests to validate silicon against design and system requirements.
• Collaborate across architecture, verification, firmware, board, RF/DSP, and system teams.
