Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior SOAR Engineer to design, implement, and optimize automated security workflows that accelerate threat detection and response. You will work with SOC, incident response, and engineering teams to build scalable playbooks, integrate diverse security tools, and improve operational efficiency.

You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to the evolution of EY's security automation program, while staying current with emerging threats and automation technologies across cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2–4 years of experience in security automation or SOAR engineering.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise SOAR platforms such as Cortex XSOAR, Splunk Phantom, or similar.
• Strong scripting/programming skills (Python/PowerShell/JavaScript) and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated security workflows for SOAR platforms.
• Integrate security tools, data sources, and workflows across the cybersecurity ecosystem.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to engineering best practices.
