Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior SOAR Engineer to design, implement, and optimize security automation solutions that improve threat response times and operational efficiency. You will work with SOC, incident response, threat intelligence, and engineering teams to automate workflows and integrate diverse security tools across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 2–4 years of relevant experience in security automation, SOAR engineering, or security operations.
• Hands-on experience implementing or developing solutions on enterprise SOAR platforms such as Cortex XSOAR, Splunk Phantom, or similar.
• Strong software development and scripting experience (Python/PowerShell/JavaScript).
• Experience with REST APIs, web services, SDKs, and custom integrations.
• Knowledge of security operations processes including incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated security workflows to enhance security operations.
• Integrate security tools and data sources across the cybersecurity ecosystem.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to automation standards and frameworks.
• Collaborate with SOC, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Detection Engineering teams to identify automation opportunities.
