Job description

Job Title: Senior Snowflake & Python Developer

Location: New Jersey, US - Onsite

Pay Rate: $50/hr - $53/hr

Duration: 26 Weeks

Person should be available to work in person from New Jersey, US.

Responsibilities:

1. Snowflake DB Developer with expertise in Python Pandas, Snowpark, Snowflake-connect, OracleDB, MSSQL.
2. 9+ years of relevant experience with hands-on exposure to Cloud environment - preferably AWS and expert in Python.
3. Very good client handling experience with the ability to advise on multiple projects.
4. Able to use orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
5. Strong in Python, including libraries for Pandas, Boto3, Snowpark.
6. Experience in Snow SQL, Snow Pipes, Streams, Views, Procedures, performance tuning, CDC, and Dynamic Tables.
7. Exposure to Time travel and data movement between Snowflake and other RDBMS.
8. Experienced in SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting.
9. Knowledge of real-time or near real-time setups using Kafka with Snowpipe.
10. Knowledge of DBT is a plus.
11. Knowledge of CI/CD using Jenkins/Bamboo.
12. Experience in Agile/Scrum-based project executions.
13. Good to have Python experience with hands-on.
14. Very good SQL expertise in Joins and Analytical functions.
15. Good to have Cloud knowledge on AWS services like S3, Lambda, Athena, or Blob.
16. Team player with a collaborative approach and excellent communication skills.
17. Candidate should be good in communication and articulation.
