Python/Django Developer *Hiring both mid-level and senior*
100% remote – even after COVID

Summary

We are a marketing research tech company that has built its core products leveraging Client, providing key insights into companies in niche industries across the board.

Our systems to support these platforms require very strong frontend engineers to build sophisticated web applications, internal and external facing portals, Chrome extensions and more. We are looking for strong, inquisitive engineers with clever solutions, and a desire to join a small but fast-growing team of Engineers (< 20) to get in early and influence our technology.

What you'll be doing

1. Design and develop modular, reusable, and highly functioning production-grade applications
2. Build horizontally scalable software, including RESTful APIs and performant background jobs that consume queues
3. Help select and influence new technologies/languages/tools/frameworks
4. Collaborate with other technology team members on solution design and code review
5. Perform debugging, tech debt resolution, and continuous code quality improvement
6. Use test driven development (TDD) and maintain test coverage
7. Introduce engineering process improvements and tools (depending on seniority level)
8. Mentoring, pair programming, leadership (depending on seniority level)

Skills we're seeking

• 2+ years of experience with back-end Python development (more experience the better as we're hiring both mid-level and senior candidates)
• Tech stack: Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, Celery
• Experience building asynchronous job processing applications involving RabbitMQ/Celery
• Strong SQL experience with any common relational database
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams
• Experience working for fast-paced
