We are seeking a Python Software Engineer specializing in CI/CD Infrastructure & DevOps Tooling. Our team manages the CI/CD infrastructure for a core NVIDIA software product, building reliable systems that support hundreds of developers globally. If you enjoy solving complex problems, automating processes, and enabling others to succeed, this role is for you.

Ideal candidates are fluent in Linux and Python, passionate about creating robust, scalable tools and systems, and committed to automation and smooth development workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and internal tools.
• Design and implement automated solutions in Python to streamline development and operations.
• Support container-based environments (Docker/Kubernetes) for building and testing distributed microservices.
• Develop internal Python tools for testing and debugging within CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with developers to improve software delivery reliability, efficiency, and visibility.
• Promote best practices in automation, testing, and release processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years experience in DevOps, Automation, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, especially for backend tooling and automation scripts.
• Experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar pipeline systems.
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems and IP networking in production environments.
• Understanding of containers, microservices, and distributed systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong Python, Linux, and Networking skills.
• Passion for enhancing developer tooling and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Experience reducing build times, flakiness, or pipeline costs at scale.
• Contributions to internal developer platforms or open-source DevOps projects.
