Job summary

Inovalon seeks a Staff Snowflake Platform Engineer to own and evolve the Snowflake data platform, focusing on reliability, performance, automation, security, and cost optimization. This is a platform engineering role emphasizing automation and operational excellence.

The candidate should have deep Snowflake expertise, strong scripting, and experience with Terraform and CI/CD to drive scalable data platform capabilities, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IT or related field.
• Extensive Snowflake architecture, compute, storage, and workload management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize Snowflake platform performance, scalability, and health.
• Build automation for provisioning, configuration, monitoring using IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD.
• Manage Snowflake security, RBAC, networking, and governance.
• Collaborate with data, AI/ML teams for scalable platform capabilities.
• Adhere to HIPAA/regulatory policies and ensure data confidentiality.
