Job summary

Staffing Spot, Inc. seeks an experienced Data Engineer specializing in Snowflake to design, implement, and manage enterprise Snowflake environments across development, QA, and production.

You will architect scalable, highly available Snowflake solutions, align with business and technical requirements, and enforce RBAC, data masking, encryption, and secure data sharing to protect sensitive data. Responsibilities include monitoring performance, optimizing warehouses, and controlling costs;

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering or cloud data platforms.
• 4+ years Snowflake platform engineering or administration.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake security, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Proficient SQL and database development; hands-on automation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage enterprise Snowflake environments across development, QA and production.
• Architect scalable, highly available Snowflake solutions with RBAC and data sharing.
• Monitor performance, optimize warehouses, and control platform costs.
• Develop automated deployment processes using CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Implement Snowflake administration using Terraform, Python, SQL, and Snowflake APIs.
• Collaborate with data teams to optimize data models and pipelines.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
