Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own hands-on development of an enterprise data platform centered on Snowflake. You will build, operate, and improve pipelines, data models, and integrations across multiple source systems.

The role requires deep Snowflake expertise, strong SQL and Python skills, and a track record of delivering reliable data solutions in a large organization. On-site in Hunt Valley, MD with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Approximately five or more years of progressive data engineering experience.
• Deep Snowflake experience building production data solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for engineering, automation, and workflows.
• Experience with data quality, monitoring, observability, governance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain production-grade data pipelines with Snowflake-native capabilities.
• Develop scalable ELT patterns and bronze/silver/gold data models for reliable enterprise data.
• Integrate and automate data ingestion from multiple enterprise sources and APIs.
• Ensure data quality, observability, and robust operational governance across platforms.
