ECCO Select is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Atlanta, GA to build a dependable Snowflake data platform on AWS. The contract-to-hire role offers a strong benefits package and a hybrid schedule with onsite presence in Atlanta.

You will design, build, and maintain batch and near-real-time data pipelines, integrate diverse data sources, and ensure data quality, security, and governance while collaborating with analysts, BI developers, and application engineers.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of data engineering experience.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience: data modeling, SQL development, and performance tuning.
• Production experience with AWS data services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions.
• Advanced SQL and strong warehousing fundamentals: dimensional modeling and ELT.
• Familiarity with C#/.NET to support data integrations.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration with technical/business teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain batch and near-real-time data pipelines on AWS.
• Develop Snowflake data models across raw, staging, and reporting layers.
• Load and transform data in Snowflake using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and external stages.
• Integrate data from internal apps, SaaS, and third-party sources via APIs/file feeds.
• Tune Snowflake performance and cost with warehouse sizing and monitoring.
• Create data quality checks and monitoring to catch data issues early.
• Apply data security and governance, including RBAC and masking.
• Collaborate with .NET-based teams to support sourcing/integrations.
• Document data flows/models/processes and participate in code reviews.
