Job summary

Peraton seeks a Senior Manager, Technical Project Management to lead design, implementation, and governance of enterprise Snowflake Data Cloud solutions across AWS and Azure for Federal and Public Sector clients.

You will manage a team of Snowflake administrators and data engineers, own the product backlog, drive cost optimization, RBAC, and ensure secure, scalable data platforms with strong governance and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data architecture and warehousing with hands-on Snowflake administration.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture (Storage, Compute, Cloud Services, Time Travel, Fail‑safe).
• Cloud experience with AWS and Azure, plus traditional data warehouses (Redshift, Oracle).
• Proven ability to manage technical teams, stakeholder expectations, and deliverables.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise Snowflake platform solutions across multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Administer Snowflake environments, including lifecycle management and scaling.
• Lead a team of Snowflake administrators and data engineers with performance management.
• Deliver end‑to‑end Data Cloud initiatives for Federal/Public Sector clients and manage escalations.
• Implement RBAC, user provisioning, access control, and cost optimization.
• Monitor compute and storage usage and optimize query performance.
• Partner with engineering and executives to troubleshoot access issues and integrate ETL/BI tools.
• Serve as Product Owner for a scrum team, translating vision into backlogs and KR-driven work.
