Job summary

Peraton in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Project Management to lead Snowflake data platform strategy, design, and governance across multi-cloud environments for federal and public sector engagements.

You will manage a team of Snowflake administrators and data engineers, own the product backlog, align sprint commitments with architectural standards, and drive cost optimization and security.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data architecture and warehousing, with strong hands-on Snowflake administration experience.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Proven leadership of technical teams including Snowflake administrators and data engineers.
• Experience delivering Data Cloud initiatives for Federal and Public Sector clients.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise Snowflake platform solutions across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure) using dimensional modeling.
• Administer Snowflake environments, including database lifecycle management and scaling.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Snowflake administrators and data engineers.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of Data Cloud initiatives for Federal and Public Sector clients.
• Implement RBAC, user provisioning, and least-privilege security standards.
• Monitor compute and storage usage and optimize resource utilization.
• Partner with engineering and executives to troubleshoot access and integrate ETL/BI tools.
• Serve as Product Owner for a scrum team and align backlogs with architectural standards.
