Job summary

Creation Technologies in Dallas is seeking a Senior SMT Process Engineer to lead cradle-to-grave assembly process development for customer designs, ensuring conformance to specs and DFx recommendations. You will define materials, methods, tools and product flow, working with production to bring new designs into the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electronics engineering.
• Minimum 10 years electronics manufacturing background.
• Detail knowledge of electronic components and PCB design.
• Experience with DFx and manufacturing process development.
• Experience with quality and regulatory standards (IPC, ISO 9001).

Responsibilities

• Support product launch activities and ensure technical aspects of new launches.
• Perform DFx analysis and develop assembly documentation for new products.
• Manage engineering changes and configuration control across lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Test and Process engineering on test/equipment capabilities.
• Review PCB designs with customers and optimize layouts with suppliers.
