Michael Page represents a growing electronics manufacturer seeking an SMT Manufacturing Engineer in Florida (Palm Bay) to lead SMT PCB assembly in a high-mix, low-volume setting, driving process improvements, supporting NPI, and optimizing cost, quality, and reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years SMT/PCB experience, hands-on SMT programming, SPI/AOI/ERP familiarity, ISO9001/DFM knowledge, and ITAR eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of SMT and PCB manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on SMT programming expertise.
• Experience with SPI, AOI, and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Box Build and electronics manufacturing processes.
• Root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding ISO9001 quality systems and DFM principles.
• U.S. Person eligibility for ITAR-controlled products.

Responsibilities

• Leading SMT assembly process development and optimization.
• Programming and troubleshooting SMT equipment and production issues.
• Supporting new product introductions and manufacturability reviews.
• Driving continuous improvement, yield enhancement, and efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborating with operations, quality, suppliers, and customers on technical solutions.
• Developing manufacturing documentation, process instructions, and rework procedures.
