Job summary

First Horizon in Tampa seeks a Business Banking Relationship Manager to deepen client partnerships by delivering financial solutions and education tailored to mid-market companies with $5M–$25M in annual sales. The role focuses on client experience, risk management, and proactive guidance.

You will retain and develop customers, coordinate loan structures, manage the pipeline, and collaborate across departments to cross-sell products and close deals that strengthen the client’s financial plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of cash flow and business credit underwriting with commercial credit training preferred.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of diverse business types, markets, and financial concepts.

Responsibilities

• Make retention and business development calls on existing and potential customers.
• Develop new customer prospects and business for the Bank.
• Maintain prospect lists and pipeline.
• Coordinate and attend loan closings and verify documentation.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services.
• Build and manage a portfolio of high-value small business clients.
