Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• 11+ years of ITS/ATMS experience and team leadership.
• PE license required.
• Proven ability to develop strategic frameworks for sustainable transportation tech.
• Strong collaboration skills and willingness to travel.
• Understanding of local agency technology initiatives and positioning.

Responsibilities

• Provides project oversight on ITS/ATMS/Technology projects with clear scoping and viable deliverables.
• Develops design plans and specifications for ITS, ATMS, and communications equipment.
• Oversees Systems Engineering documents following FHWA processes.
• Plans and develops ITS/ATMS master planning and policy documents.
• Oversee staff completion of engineering field work and infrastructure verification.
• Writes technical reports and memoranda.
