Job summary

Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Small Commercial Sales Manager in Massachusetts (South Shore).

This full-time, exempt role focuses on driving small commercial (BOP and <50K) new business flow through agents' offices, educating account managers, and aligning with risk appetite and underwriting partners to support growth and retention. You will bind small accounts in the agent's office when needed, develop targeted business mix with underwriting, and build strong agency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5+ years' Commercial Lines Underwriting and/or Marketing experience preferred.
• Proven track record in developing new business.
• Professional designation such as CPCU or CIC is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business flow for small commercial policies in agent offices.
• Bind small accounts in the agents' offices when needed.
• Collaborate with underwriting and marketing teams to target business mix.
• Build and maintain agency relationships.
• Educate Account Managers and agents on risk appetite.
