Cygnet Taunton is expanding with a new 15-bed neuro-cognitive inpatient service for older adults with complex cognitive and neurological conditions. The Specialist/Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist role offers a clear career path from Band 6 to Band 7 equivalent, with supervision and CPD support.

The post requires HCPC registration and RCSLT membership, plus clinical expertise in neurology, neurodegeneration, and person-centred care.

Qualificações

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent) and HCPC registration.
• Membership of the RCSLT is desirable and relevant for practice.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and manage speech, communication and language needs (SCLN) and eating, drinking and swallowing (EDS) needs for a specialist caseload.
• Deliver input aligned with the Cygnet SLT pathway for neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative services.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary on-site team to support management approaches and upskill the workforce.
