York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist to lead and deliver highly specialist assessments and treatments for patients with complex dysphagia and communication impairments. The role covers inpatient wards, outpatient services and home visits from Scarborough Hospital.

You will join an established Adult SLT team, contribute to leadership, quality improvement and teaching, and play a key role in service development across sites.

Qualifications

• Registered Speech and Language Therapist with experience in dysphagia and communication impairments.
• Experience delivering care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
• Ability to work across Scarborough Hospital and patient homes as required.

Responsabilités

• Hold a clinical workload across sites delivering highly specialist assessment, treatment and advice.
• Embed best practice across the SLT team and audit quality of care.
• Support the Team Manager in monitoring service capacity and delivery.
• Lead quality improvement projects as part of the Advanced Clinical Specialists team.
