Job summary

Coordinated Therapy Solutions is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech or language disorders, and to formulate individualized treatment programs.

The role involves working under a physician's direction, providing direct patient care, and developing care plans for residents with communication, swallowing, or cognitive challenges. Licensure and compliance with standards are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology.
• State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• Proficiency with applicable state, federal, and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, hearing, cognitive, or swallowing issues.
• Under a physician's direction, provide direct patient care based on established plan of care.
• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate care plans.
• Plan, direct or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative ability.
• Administer, score, and interpret specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers to practice new skills.
• Complete required forms and documents per policy and regulations.
• Maintain patient records accurately and timely.
• Devises special tools and treatments for individual patient needs.
