Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a senior Polysomnographic Technologist to perform comprehensive sleep studies, score PSGs, and lead shift operations when the chief technologist is unavailable.

The role requires BRPT registration, 3+ years of sleep lab experience, and strong knowledge of AASM guidelines. You will ensure high-quality data, patient safety, and collaboration with the Sleep Disorders Center team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with added sleep technology training to lead to BRPT eligibility.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (R PSG T) through the BRPT is required.
• Demonstrates leadership, team-building and ability to score sleep tests per AASM guidelines.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a sleep lab.

Responsibilities

• Score PSG, MSLT and MWT studies per AASM guidelines.
• Lead technologist on shift when designated and ensure patient safety.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot PSG equipment to maintain high-quality recordings.
• Maintain quality assurance and participate in ongoing education and improvement.
