Job summary

Palisades Tahoe, part of Alterra Mountain Company, seeks a Seasoned Segment Head Coach for the All Mountain Club program. You will oversee a defined age class sub-segment, contribute to athlete and staff development, and collaborate with the department to implement training plans.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, program execution, and maintaining athlete management systems, while aligning with our mission and guest experience standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Active US Ski & Snowboard Certification or PSIA/AASI or equivalent.
• Prior coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a specific segment or sub-segment of a dept. discipline or age class.
• Supervise staff time and attendance.
• Contribute to team athletic processes and philosophies.
• Develop annual training plans with the Manager and other Head Coaches.
• Ensure athlete management programs are in place and overseen.
• Stay informed on industry trends and seek feedback from athletes, parents, staff.
