Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Snowboard Foundational Coach for Palisades Tahoe in Olympic Valley. You will guide riders aged 5-20, executing a structured curriculum and promoting teamwork and sport joy.
The role emphasizes safety, scheduling, and collaboration with managers to ensure athlete progress and parent satisfaction while supporting the program's Olympic history and mountainside culture.
Qualifications
- Active membership with US Ski & Snowboard required or in process.
- Extensive coaching experience with competitive riders preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead training groups and adapt sessions.
Responsibilities
- Know and adhere to schedule, Time & Attendance expectations.
- Set up training environments and transport/install equipment.
- Implement team training per curriculum and manager direction.
- Drive long-term athlete development and skill retention.
- Maintain facility quality and safety standards.
